The Grammys is the biggest night in music as all of the biggest names around join together to celebrate what happened in the past year and give out awards, deservingly or not, to each other. As part of the celebrations, many of those artists perform live, at times together, creating some of the most unlikely of pairings. The Grammys already announced several of the performers that include established legends Madonna and AC/DC with new pop acts Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande. The academy has added to the performers list, giving the night a needed hip-hop and R&B flavor. Usher, Sam Smith, John Legend, Pharrell and Common are the new additions, via Rap-Up.

Sam Smith makes his Grammy performance debut with six nominations in 2014 for Best New Artist, Album of The Year, Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year, among others.

Pharrell will take the stage as he looks to take home some hardware of his own from his six nominations including for Best Pop Solo Performance with "Happy" and Album of The Year for G I R L.

John Legend and Common will team up to perform "Glory" fresh off of a win at the Golden Globes and Oscar nomination. Both are nominated twice.

Grammy veteran Usher will make his return to the Grammy stage as he awaits the decision on four Grammy nominations.

Eric Church and Miranda Lambert are also set to perform at the Grammys.

LL Cool J will host the Grammys again as the 57th edition will air live Sunday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. EST from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
