Australian radio station FBi created an auction to sell handmade creations from different artists and musicians as they passed through the station to raise money for their Brush With Fame auction.

There is an amazing collection of 40 pieces that went up for auction on Nov. 22 and will close tomorrow. Each piece started about about $45. When a musician came in the studio, they were given a plain white canvas and fabric markers. They each had an individual approach to the task, some more detailed and colorful, some extremely simplistic.

Some of the musicians include Vampire Weekend, Moby, Tame Impala, The xx, Florence and the Machine, Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors, Iggy & The Stooges, Local Natives, Sleigh Bells and Jens Lekman, among many others.

In addition to the impressive list of musicians, FBi's website explains that there are also works from visual artist and Archibald Prize finalist Abdul Abdullah, world renowned street artist Beastman, media commentator and author Marieke Hardy and Australian icon, musician and creative mind behind "Mambo", Reg Mombassa.

This is such an awesome idea. Each piece comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from FBi Radio, so there's no mistaking that these pieces are legit. Once the auction closes tomorrow (hurry!), the art work will be shipped out the next day. For fans of these bands, that would be a pretty incredible, one-of-a-kind present for the holidays.

Take a look at some of the artwork below, and check out each piece on FBi radio's Brush With Fame site.
