Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates has announced his "I Don't Get Tired Tour," which will take him across the South and the Midwest in February and March. According to Hip-Hop DX, the tour kicks off on Feb. 20 in Montgomery, Alabama and will hit 19 cities, finishing up on March 15 in Shreveport, Louisiana. However, the itinerary claims that Gates will be performing two shows in two separate Louisiana cities on March 14, so either this is a typo or Gates is just really committed to his whole "I Don't Get Tired" act.
The tour takes its name from Gates's single, "I Don't Get Tired," which was included on his most recent mixtape, Luca Brasi 2, released back in December. The mixtape was Gates's second of 2014, following By Any Means from back in March.
"I don't pay attention to sales because it's not about that for me," Gates told Vibe about his philosophy towards music. "It'd about the music. Music is all I have...Music is my only outlet, it's therapeutic to me. It's a release. It's how I vent emotionally."
