Have you been watching the current season of Celebrity Apprentice? If so, then you're well aware of the fact that Kate Gosselin was fired on this week's episode. If you have seen her on any of the other reality shows that she has graced with her presence, you know that Gosselin is usually a force that no one really wants to reckon with. For some odd reason, that strong, control-freak woman didn't seem to show up at all on Donald Trump's show, making it kind of amazing that she lasted for as long as she did!
Gosselin shot to fame on Jon & Kate Plus 8, in part because she was a control freak and seemed to have everything together. Scheduling was a piece of cake and no one dared to buck whatever system that she was implementing. So again, where was this woman on Celebrity Apprentice? She was content to go shopping for hours and to leave the tougher tasks to her other team members. She seemed almost intimidated by women like Kenya Moore and Brandi Glanville who aren't afraid to speak their minds.
Could it be that her ruling with that proverbial iron fist is only reserved for when she's wrangling kids and a man that she can't actually stand? Ultimately, Gosselin was fired because she was the project manager with the campaign that was second best. The project manager can always be an easy fall guy in the board room but in this instance, it was kind of hard to really think of anything that Gosselin has done in all of the weeks combined to justify keeping her around as a valuable team player.
