Fifth Harmony are all about paying tribute to the major women players in the industry. First off its new album Reflection, 5H name checked Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey in "BO$$." Now, in the former X Factor group's new song, it's all about Mariah Carey. Today (Jan. 28), Fifth Harmony released its latest single, the Tyga-featuring "Like Mariah," which samples the 1995 classic "Always Be My Baby."

"Like Mariah" takes the signature "do do do do doo"s of Carey's classic Daydream hit, sampling it and speeding it up to play underneath the girls of Fifth Harmony.

Singing like Carey is the highest of compliments in this song, which features 5H bragging about the loving their man has to offer, saying his touch makes them go into their whistle register (if you know what I'm sayin').

"You make me get up, get up like this is my song / You got me humming, humming to the beat of the drum / The rhythm, rhythm, yeah / You're loving takes me higher / You set my love on fire / When you touch my body, got me singing like Mariah," the girls sing in the catchy chorus.

Tyga is along for the ride too, much like Kid Ink in last week's 5H release, "Worth It." After the girls spend verse upon verse bragging about how good their man is, Tyga is there to return the favor. In a melodic but largely forgettable rap, Tyga also namechecks Aaliyah, just for good measure.

Unlike, say, Carey or Aaliyah, "Like Mariah" relies far too heavily on Auto-tune to carry the individual members' solos. The opening verse, featuring Camila Cabello, is a particularly harsh offense.

Perhaps this song will shine live, when Fifth Harmony launches The Reflection Tour starting in just one month.

Reflection will be released on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
