Slash's new girlfriend Meegan Hodges received an unfortunate welcome to her new neighborhood recently. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, some uninvited guests invaded the couple's privacy at the Guns N' Roses guitarist's California home and set off some security alarms. Hodges blamed the recent privacy invasion incident on TMZ, which posted a picture of the house last month along with a story about the couple getting matching tattoos.

"Wow! What a 'welcome to the neighborhood.' Really like to thank TMZ (not) for showing my house on TV and sending wackos setting off my alarm. Thank god for the police their full swat team and helicopter to make me feel safe," she wrote.

Slash and his new girlfriend are getting comfortable one month after the musician filed for a divorce from his wife of 13 years Perla Hudson. TMZ reported that the couple were separating after a picture of the rock star and Hodges hugging surfaced on Twitter. Slash moved to make it official shortly thereafter, asking for joint custody of their two children Cash and London.

Things got rocky for the couple in 2010, but they decided to renew their wedding vows and work out their problems.

"I never actually was one of those guys that said I'm gonna be single forever and never have children," he said a while after they were married. "I just never made plans for it, so when it happened, it was, like, at the perfect time in my life. It's like, if it had happened a second earlier, I couldn't have handled it, 'cause I was too out there. Then when the kids came, it actually sort of secured me, more than anything."

Slash will kick off a world tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators later this month.
