Remember "Friday"? Of course you do. It's Friday, Friday. You've got to get down on Friday. Despite being deemed by some as the worst song of all time, there's no denying that it was a pop smash, with its low budget music video bringing rookie vocalist Rebecca Black millions of views. Now, two years later, Black is 16 years old, and has released a sequel track, aptly named "Saturday."

The track is a more electronically-based number, and it seems Black has grown into her voice a bit, or at least there's a significantly less amount of autotune being used. The performer works in references to her previous "smash," by stating that she's "trying to forget about Friday, a line that probably references a hangover during the track, but may also be in regards to some of the harsh feedback she received as a 14 year-old.

Those who immediately took issue with our suggestion that a 16 year-old is suffering from a hangover can watch the video and try to draw a different conclusion. Most of it revolves a group of teenagers rocking out at a house party, all rocking beverages in red, plastic party cups. We've went to a fairly large college, so we know how these things work. Plus, the video ends with one partygoer being arrested. We're just reporting what we see.

The rest of the video is full of bizarre "newly-grown-up" shenanigans, including riding a robotic triceratops, and crowd surfing a blow-up doll. The makers of the video also figured why merely imitate the behavior of Miley Cyrus when you can just have a Miley lookalike (dressed in a 'We Can't Stop' getup as well).

Ultimately, "Saturday" doesn't live up to its predecessor. Sure, "Friday" was simple-minded to an absurd degree, but that half its charm, and even Black came to embrace the comic element of the video. We can't see "Saturday" having the same outcome. Watch below and tell us if we're wrong.
