Neil Young has added a few dates onto his list of concerts thus far for 2014, including a few dates that put to rest any notion that Crazy Horse might be out of the picture.

Young announced on Monday that he would be playing a series of four dates as a solo performer in his homeland of Canada, in order to raise funds for the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Legal Defense Fund. The fund works to provide legal defense aid to native Canadians. The concert series, which Young dubbed the "Honor The Treaties" tour, will seek specifically to assist native tribes in defending their land against oil companies.

Allison Krauss will serve as opener for the four-date tour.

The dates will come following Young's previously-scheduled four-concert residency at Carnegie Hall in New York City coming in January. There's no word on how Young will frame his New York dates, but Rolling Stone pointed out that his performance at the most recent Farm Aid was built around '60s and '70s. Young has also strongly referenced the last performance of folk performer Phil Ochs, which occurred at Carnegie Hall during 1974.

Perhaps more exciting is Young's announcement that he and the band Crazy Horse will play at Hyde Park in London during July, with rumors of another show in Ulm, Germany later in the month. Young and Crazy Horse had to cut their tour short during early 2013 when guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro injured his hands. Although the band said nothing to suggest it, the injury inevitably led to speculation that Young and his touring band might call it quits from touring. Today's announcement will stymy those rumors for now. Young's Canadian dates are listed below.

01/12: Toronto, ON @ Massey Hall
01/16: Winnipeg, MB @ Centennial Concert Hall
01/17: Regina, SK @ Conexus Arts Centre
01/19: Calgary, AB @ Jack Singer Concert Hall
