Bill Cosby's life has changed pretty radically since last November, when one woman decided to write an essay about allegedly being assaulted by him. The bottom has fallen out from under him completely, with NBC and Netflix shelving planned projects and a multitude of his concerts have been canceled. Then there is the fact that venues are not lining up to book him for future gigs, either. Business is bad and, even worse, some of Cosby's oldest friends, such as Sidney Poitier, are turning their backs on him. In fact, Poitier is disgusted by the allegations.

According to a report by Radar Online, Poitier was not only friends with the comedian, but he is also on good terms with Alan Ladd Jr., whose wife Cindra Ladd recently accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her. A source close to the legendary actor said it is hard to doubt when a couple dozen women come forward with similar accusations.

"I can tell you that Mr. Poitier is terribly disgusted by what Bill Cosby has done, and he feels sorry for him. Poitier has always wanted audiences to understand that the moral men he's played on screen weren't a far cry from the man he is off screen. Have you even heard of whispers about Sidney Poitier? He's dignified, and remains that way -- which is why he will say nothing about Cosby," said the source.

While not everyone in Hollywood is jumping to make their feelings about Cosby and the accusations against him known, he must be taking an enormous amount of heat privately, don't you think?  Readers, do you think that his personal life has been as affected just as much as his business has been?
