Sean "Diddy" Combs could be in trouble in Scottsdale, Arizona after an appearance at a club for a pre-Super Bowl party allegedly ended with the rapper assaulting a fan.

Steve Donaldson was attending a club on the Saturday night before the Super Bowl, which was held in nearby Glendale. He reports that he paid $100 for his ticket with the intention of seeing Diddy perform, however the emcee and Bad Boy Records boss apparently showed up late and didn't actually perform, spending most of his time in the club's VIP area. When the angry fan yelled to the performer, Diddy responded by punching him.

TMZ posted video showing several moments from the evening. The first captures Donald filming as he verbally accosted the performer.

"Hey, fu*k you for not performing tonight," he says when the rapper turns to him. "You're a fu*king as*hole" he continues when Diddy's arm is shown flying toward the camera. The footage then seems to switch phones, showing Diddy watching a performance onstage while recounting the events to his friend. TMZ's acquired footage ends with a clip of Donaldson being led away out of the venue by security.

Diddy had left the club by the time police arrived, according to Billboard. Donaldson filed a report alleging battery against the performer. So far there hasn't been a comment on the situation from his camp.

Diddy doesn't exactly have a rampant history of public disturbances. Even if you hold his 1999 assault of Interscope's Steve Stoute against him, that leaves a 15-year plus gap without a charge sticking. Of course, outside of the law, people are more interested in the "fight" between Diddy and Drake at a Miami where the elder emcee reportedly punched the Young Money member in the face over perceived disrespect.
