Martin Garrix is in a thankful mood on this Friday. Not only is it the weekend, but he just passed the social media milestone of 10 million Facebook fans — barely a year and a half after the official release of "Animals." To thank his 10 million fans the "Tremor" producer is giving away a free download of a brand new original, titled "Forbidden Voices."

With "Forbidden Voices" the Dutch DJ leaves behind the percussive festival anthems that bought him the private jets and millions of fans for a more mellow tune, emphasizing his melodic tenancies with soft chords, pitched plucks and muddled vocal samples where it can presumed the name "Forbidden Voices" comes from.

It is not his strongest work and feels like a leftover track, but nonetheless, it is something different from Garrix and fans will enjoy the free download.

The track comes with a video which shows the life Garrix is able to lead now because of all of his success at just 18 years old and a recent high school graduate with a private jet, exotic island vacations and playing in front of thousands of fans weekly.

Garrix has come a long way from his pre-teen days as DJ Marty (the grainy black and white footage shown in the video) to his time as a ghost producer where he was noticed by his current label Spinnin' Records who signed him and helped propel him to be the superstar he has become today. In the past 12 months, Garrix has played festivals worldwide like Tomorrowland, Lollapolooza, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and elsewhere on all six continents that host music events.

10 million seems to have come quickly, but the next 10 may arrive even faster. Watch the video below via his YouTube Channel and download the song his website.
