Everyone's releasing their year-end lists as 2013 comes to a close. Major publications such as Rolling Stone and Spin have unveiled their choice picks for album's of the year, but who's to say they're the only ones who have their say? What about the artists themselves? Rockers Queens of the Stone Age, who released ...Like Clockwork in June have now revealed their picks for the best 10 albums of the year.

Queens of the Stone Age themselves have appeared on quite a few lists, including those from NME, Paste, Spin and Rolling Stone. But now, in an interview with Brooklyn Vegan, the band eschewed its own release in favor of albums from Arcade Fire, Nick Cave, Kirt Vile and more.

Check out Queen of the Stone Age's favorite albums of 2013 below:

Arcade Fire, Reflektor
Arctic Monkeys, AM
Paul McCartney, New
Earthless, From the Ages
David Bowie, The Next Day
Nick Cave, Push the Sky Away
Various Artists, Rise and Fall of Paramount Records 1917-1932
Savages, Silence Yourself
Phoenix, Bankrupt
Kurt Vile, Walking on a Pretty Daze

Not bad choices from Josh Homme and co.!

Notably absent from QOTSA's list? Jay Z, who released Magna Carta Holy Grail in July. Earlier this year, Homme started somewhat of a feud with the rapper after receiving odd treatment at Hova's Made in America Festival 2013. Homme was asked to pose with some vodka and go through security measures at the Philadelphia show, leading him to call Jay Z a "kook."
