Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip have teamed up to release a free mixtape. According to Rolling Stone, the new release The Abstract and the Dragon "brings together collaborative tracks recorded throughout the two decades of friendship between the two rappers." The mixtape's cover art is an homage to A Tribe Called Quest's Low-End Theory.

The 28-track effort features new songs "Butch and Sundance" and "Thank You," which was recently released with Lil Wayne and Kanye West. It also contains skits and other tracks from A Tribe Called Quest, Missy Elliot and Big Daddy Kane.

"Me and Tip, we've been friends, brothers for 26 years," Busta explains in the mixtape's trailer. "It's weird for me when I really think of all the years that have passed and all this work we done did together, all this greatness we accomplished together. All the uncharted territory that we embarked on together. It's almost like we're still living that flawless victory experience."

In other news, Q-Tip is currently at work on his upcoming solo album, The Last Zulu. He is also producing Kanye West's upcoming album along with Rick Rubin. Busta Rhymes also has new material in the works with his upcoming album E.L.E. 2 (Extinction Level Event 2).
