It could have been Skrillex leaking his inclusion the lineup yesterday or it might have been the plan all along, but either way the complete list of artists who perform at Electric Forest has been announced. Some of the names featured on the lineup include the aforementioned "Ease My Mind" producer Kaskade, E Forest regular Bassnectar, Flume, Big Gigantic, tech house king Carl Cox, Claude VonStroke, who was a rumored inclusion, and many others.
The electronic music festival is top heavy with big name DJs but also stays true to its roots in the jam band scene and electronic funk with inclusions like The String Cheese Incident who are the resident artists at the festival and play three shows every year, EOTO, Lettuce, Schpongle, Exmag, Dopapod and others. There are even a few left field inclusions like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and G-Eazy to bring a little diversity in genre to the festival.
The Skrillex leak could have been a marketing ploy just to drive attention to the festival on the eve of the actual announcement, but we will never know.
Electric Forest will take place June 25–28 in Rothbury, Michigan. Tickets are still on sale now at the Electric Forest website.
