Don't get too excited yet, as it's only a rumor, but members of Queen have suggested the group may be going on tour with Adam Lambert as vocalist once again. Drummer Roger Taylor described during an interview why Lambert is pretty much the best option to replace original singer Freddie Mercury. You know, versus Paul Rodgers.

"It was a one-off but it went really fantastically well," he said about the group's 2012 limited-run tour with the pop vocalist. "He's really come on even more. He's a real dark force now. And he's very theatrical. And he really interprets our songs just brilliantly. And he has that incredible instrument, that voice, and I feel he's going away from the pop thing which is good I think. And he's becoming a serious player."

No offense meant to Lambert and his solo work, but we're not sure how that would beat being the full-time vocalist for Queen. However, Taylor didn't make it clear whether Lambert's involvement would include working on new music. Guitarist Brian May has apparently found a collection of previously unreleased Queen tracks (featuring Mercury on vocals), and is looking to figure out a package for them. No word on whether there's enough lost tracks to constitute an entire album, or if Lambert could step in to create some additional filler tracks as well.

Again, all rumors, but some pretty believable rumors.

Lambert's last solo album, Trespassing, came out during 2012, and the performer has also appeared on the television show Glee during 2013.
