This week, Montreal's dream pop champions Braids announced their new album, Deep In The Iris would be released through Arbutus Records on April 28, 2015, While that news is exciting enough for fans of the band, the trio also debuted the new song "Miniskirt" to give us a taste of the new record. Singer Raphaelle Standell definitely shines in this new tune, with impressive vocals and entrancing lyrics, but the soaring composition truly comes together as a sort of dreamlike orchestration. February marks the triumphant return of Co-Signed rapper Angel Haze with her new EP, In the Winter of Wet Years. This week, she gave us another great taste of her new direction with the song "Gxmes," which features a more harmonic approach to her rhymes, though her flow is still very prevalent throughout. RIYL: Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar

Indie, garage rockers Speedy Ortiz are getting ready to release their sophomore album Foil Deer on April 2 through Carpark Records. To get a better taste of the grunge-inspired band's new record, they released the song "Raising the Skate" this week, showing us they mean business in 2015. We always love when artists come together, teaming up for some great tunes. This week, we had a number of performers creating music together! Check out Kanye West's newest track, "Wolves," featuring Sia and Vic Mensa right here! You should also check out The Staves and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver teaming up for the song "Make It Holy" right here!

Speaking of musical projects we love- covers pop up each week and this week we have some great new versions of cool songs to share with you! In June of 2015, the anthemic power pop group Florence & the Machine will drop their new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful via Republic Records in the United States (Island Records in the Unite Kingdom). To help us get super excited for the return of the awesome songs that are sure to stick in our minds for years to come, the band released the new single "What Kind of Man" in music video format this week. Fans of the group are sure to enjoy the classic rock-inspired tune and the artistic video. Check it out below:

Chance the Rapper and his band, The Social Experiment, this week released a brand new track that is sure to be one of your favorites this year. This new song, "Lady Friend," had a very appropriate release date, St. Valentine's Day 2015, jumping between hip-hop and soul for this very addicting number. It's a pretty original love song, which shows off some of Chance's talents to the fullest. Check it out right here:
