Slayer will reportedly release its 11th studio album later this year. The metal act will tease fans this Record Store Day with a single from the album, "When the Stillness Comes." The new tune will mark only the second piece of music the band has released since the death of founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013 -- they shared "Implode" last year. Limited edition copies of the single will hit participating record stores April 18, Rolling Stone noted.

The flipside of the record will feature a live version of the band's 1983 track "Black Magic." Check out the Record Store Day website to find a store near you.

Hanneman was replaced by Exodus guitarist Gary Holt for the album while drummer Paul Bostaph sat in for Dave Lombardo on drums. Lombardo told fans in 2013 that due to contract disputes, he would no longer be behind the drum kit for the group.

According to Lombardo, the band members were not being compensated properly for their tours.

"Last year, I discovered 90% of Slayer's tour income was being deducted as expenses including the professional fees paid to management, costing the band millions of dollars and leaving 10% or less to split amongst the four of us. In my opinion, this is not the way a band's business should operate. I tried rectifying it by letting my band mates know, and Tom and I hired auditors to figure out what happened, but I was denied access to detailed information and the necessary back up documents," he wrote.

When the drummer suggested the band rework the business model, bandmate Kerry King made it clear he was not interested in taking action and told Lombardo he could find another drummer. The percussionist was notified of his dismissal from the band a few days later via email.

Lombardo made it clear he would "never" be returning to the band during an interview in August.
