It seems like Angel Haze's debut album Dirty Gold will be officially released before the end of the year after all.

Yesterday, in an act of defiance, the rapper leaked Dirty Gold on Twitter and SoundCloud after her label, Island, promised to release the record before the end of the year if she finished recording over the summer and failed to give it a 2013 release date.

Now, instead of dropping her from her contract, Island is making good on its original word. According to Haze's Twitter, Dirty Gold will be released on Dec. 30, just in the nick of time.

Haze made the announcement yesterday (Dec. 18) in a series of tweets. "Behind every rebel is a f---ing reason. Just want to say thank you guys for your support today. Thanks to those who heard the album and f---ed with it. Thanks to everyone who stood up for me," she wrote. "My labels didn't think that I would do it, but I did. It's hard to put at risk everything I've spent this year working on but I had to for both me and you guys. No one should ever be afforded the opportunity to f--- with your dreams. REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY ARE. They do not own you or your faith or your future and beacause of what you guys helped show them, my labels have agreed to release Dirty Gold December 30th. UK and US."

Haze then wrote a worldwide release would soon follow.

According to Rolling Stone, Dirty Gold was originally slated for a Jan. 2014 release, but then Island pushed the record back to March 3.
