Teresa Giudice of RHONJ has been locked up in a Connecticut prison for a little over a month now, and her family is already beginning to feel the financial loss of her being behind bars. When Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice were sentenced last fall on various counts of fraud, not only did they get prison time, but there was also a hefty restitution amount that needed to be paid back. Teresa granted a Bravo interview and then they hoped they would be able to sell off their massive New Jersey mansion to settle up and also help the family stay afloat. As it turns out, no one wants the gaudy house and Joe is starting to panic over the lack of cash. He is desperate for cash because Teresa has been the family breadwinner for years.

Not only was she making a nice paycheck for appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but there was also a lot of product endorsement and a string of cookbooks that the reality star heavily promoted. With her locked up, her earning ability has been zapped and Joe's career path has always been a bit of a mystery.

According to a report by Radar Online, Joe knows he needs to start bringing in a substantial amount of money but has no idea how to make it happen and the pressure is crushing him.

"Joe is getting desperate. He doesn't have any money coming in and he doesn't know how he is going to get any money. Without Teresa's show money they're not generating any income. Everything was all smoke and mirrors. Teresa and Joe have been counting on selling the place and getting money that way, but they haven't had any buyers. They're really worried that it could go into foreclosure," said the source.

Based on everything we have learned about this couple, in the past Joe would have resorted to shady means to make some fast cash. After having the government all over him for the last few years, he is far less likely to do that now, and when it comes down to having actual skills, well, Joe seems a bit limited.

Do you think he will start to work at a regular job to provide for the four daughters Teresa has left in his custody? Will their house end up in foreclosure and how about their marriage? Will it survive two prison terms between them? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
