Usually when someone has a serious addiction issue and decides to get clean, they kind of go out of their way to avoid environments that could cause them to slip. That is not the case with Scott Disick, though. After years of well-documented substance abuse that most of us have seen proof of thanks to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Disick is still hitting the U.K. clubs on a regular basis in the name of work. He struggles to stay sober on tour. Just two months after Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to their third child, Disick has left her at home to juggle the kids while he embarks on a European club tour. All the reality star has to do is show up and he is guaranteed to get paid. It is such easy money, but it often seems to come at the price of his sobriety.
According to a report by Radar Online, Disick seems to be doing better than usual when he hits the road for hosting gigs.
"Scott has stayed sober and, unlike last trip, he has been in constant communication with Kourtney. He knows that she has people watching him like a hawk while he is overseas. So far, so good. Although he is not 100 percent alcohol-free all the time, he is working towards a healthier self by eliminating the people and things in his life that were toxic," explained the insider.
Last summer, Disick briefly spent time in a rehab facility, and it is no secret that in the months that followed he struggled to keep himself together -- so much so that there were rumors of a split between him and Kardashian before she delivered little Reign Aston. Somehow, they have stuck it out, but it is hard to imagine her supporting him walking into clubs that are filled with temptation.
