Big Sean is taking the name of his new album Dark Sky Paradise and making it into literal visual interpretations. After releasing the lighthearted music video for the record's lead single "IDFWU," today (March 3), Sean teamed up with Drake and Kanye West to get intense in the new visual for his latest single "Blessings."

Whereas "IDFWU" was filled with football analogies and some small jokes, "Blessings" is an intense black and white clip, filled with religious imagery and intense showings of emotions from the three all-star rappers on hand to perform their rhymes.

Sean, looking pensive, strolls through a dark studio, eventually winding up in confession, talking to two versions of himself. Eventually, he strolls upon Drake (who steals the song, of course) as he delivers his own verse, as Sean is sprawled out on stairs, shirtless and distressed.

The video is intense and contemplative, with Sean rapping to the heavens and through car windows.

The levels only get more intense when West shows up, performing from the clouds himself as Sean and himself get down to the beats.

It's all simplistic, but it works for the intense rap song, as it shows off and focuses on the skills and rhymes moreso than any gimmicks.
