Several passengers no doubt had their greatest travel fear realized this morning when an MD-88 skidded off the runway at LaGuardia Airport. Thankfully, it crashed into a fence that may have actually helped to stop the plane, preventing it from landing in the water. At the time of the crash, about 3 inches of fresh snow had fallen, but a blustery winter mix made visibility really difficult. Jaime Primak, a PR heavyweight and star of Bravo's Jersey Belle, was on board.

According to a report by the New York Post, "Sources said Delta Flight 1086 from Atlanta was landing when the mishap occurred on Runway 13 around 11 a.m. LaGuardia was closed at 11:09 a.m. until at least 7 p.m., sources said. Passengers were being led off the plane through an exit over the wing. Reports said the planed carried about 130 people."

Primak tweeted her fear while being smack in the middle of the crisis.

"We've crash landed at LGA. I'm terrified. Please..." followed by an update, "We have all been evacuated. Everyone is safe. Thank you for your prayers. God is good."

Fans were quick to respond with relief and they also used this crisis as a reason for Bravo to give Jersey Belle a second season.

Such a scary accident that could have ended up so much worse. Unfortunately, those who were trying to travel through LGA are not going to get anywhere for a while. As the bad weather continues, the runways are all shut down until at least 7 p.m.
