Las Vegas is a great home for EDM DJs on residency such as Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Tiësto, so why not for hip-hop DJs as well? Snoop Dogg will be continuing his "The Snoopadelic Cabaret" series (under the alias DJ Snoopadelic) this year and will also be joined by DJ Khaled, who will conduct his own residency at the Tao nightclub in the Venetian Resort (from Billboard).

The Snoopadelic Cabaret began last year with the emcee both spinning records and performing the occasional song. So far he's only listed a few dates in Las Vegas, on March 28, May 2 and May 23. Part of the reason for his relative lack of availability is that he'll have a legitimate tour to carry out once his new album, BUSH, drops (reportedly by the end of the month). Although an official date still hasn't been nailed down, the press release sent out by Tao reported that a new single, "Peaches N' Cream" will definitely drop during March. The "cabaret" lives up to its name, with a Roaring '20s theme throughout the night.

The emcee's DJ alias has also started to gather some attention by itself, as Snoopadelic will appear at the Movement Electronic Festival in Detroit during May.

DJ Khaled will partake in his first residency at Tao, carrying his "We The Best" motto out west for the "We The Best: Vegas Edition." The Miami emcee/beatmaker will kick off his residency on May 1, but the site for the nightclub doesn't suggest how frequently he'll be appearing. Keep an eye out for updates.

The May 1 and May 2 dates for the respective performers could be relatively relaxed in terms of attendance, but the city as a whole will probably be as chaotic as ever. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be taking part in the "fight of the century" on May 2 and many will descend upon Vegas that weekend, even if they're not attending the fight.
