Kerrie Roberts is set to perform an entirely online, live streaming show on August 22, at 8 p.m. (EDT), during which fans can access the performance from the comfort of their homes for only $5.

The show will be streamed through StageIt, an online venue through which artists can perform live, interactive, financially supportable shows that are directly accessible to fans by means of any laptop with internet capabilities. The performance will be about a half hour in length and about 196 tickets remain available at the present.

This is not Roberts' first show with StageIt.  On April 2 she performed a StageIt show in celebration of the release of her new album, 'Time For The Show' that was released on the same day.

Earlier today, July 18, Roberts tweeted, "On Aug 22, I want to sing to you in your living room, kitchen or wherever you choose!!! Only $5!..."

Roberts released her debut album, 'Kerrie Roberts,' in 2010, after struggling to make a name for herself in the music industry.  Looking back, however, she can see that those years of struggle have helped her to chase after musical success today.

"The thing I'm so thankful for from all those heartbreaking years is realizing how much those experiences have prepared me for where I am now," Roberts said, according to her website.

'No Matter What,' is a single off of her debut album and marks one of her most successful songs to date.  "[It] is a declaration to serve God because He saved you from your sin, not because He's saving you from the pain of this life," Roberts explained, according to her website.

Roberts' songs deal with realistic themes and address the fact that Christianity cannot be packaged in whatever way we want it to be.  Instead, faith requires that we become vulnerable and allow God to take control.  Roberts was inspired by Christianity at a young age, growing up with a pastor for a father and a family that was heavily involved in the church and ministry.  She presents Christian themes with her catchy, pop-music style, drawing the attention of both Christian fans and fans that tend to follow more mainstream artists.

Roberts' new album features popular songs like 'What Are You Afraid Of?' and the title track, 'Time For The Show.'  Cross Rhythms referred to the new album as, "yet another powerhouse piece of work that highlights the sheer talent of one of CCM's top notch artists."  It showcases her diverse talents from upbeat pop tunes to the final song on the album, a slow worship song entitled, 'Like Jesus Loves.'  The album deals with themes of low self-esteem, insecurity, irrational fear, empowerment, strength, encouragement and joy.  It focuses on the power of Christ and its ability to overcome our human flaws.
