Zedd and Selena Gomez's new, upbeat love song has visuals to accompany it. Gomez has been teasing the video for "I Want You to Know" on Instagram over the past few weeks, and now the full video has been released.
The clip follows Gomez on a night out in a dark club filled with good-looking and glamorous people under a twinkling disco ball. She seductively moves around the dance floor to Zedd's thumping beats as she sings the chorus, "I want you to know that it's our time / You and me bleed same light / I want you to know that I'm all yours / You and me run the same course / I'm slipping down a chain reaction / And here I go / And once again I'm your infractions / It pulls me down low."
Zedd occasionally flashes across the screen with kaleidoscope effects shimmering around his face, keeping fans aware of his important contribution to the track.
Zedd is nowhere to be found in the scene, so if you were looking for a steamy physical profession of love between the two budding lovebirds, it is not here, but the paparazzi are hot on their tail for it. Watch the video below on Zedd's YouTube channel and purchase the single on iTunes.
The pair met by total chance, and luckily for both of them.
Zedd explained in an interview with Amp 97.1 that he met Gomez because he had to pee on his day off and the studio where Selena was working in had the closest bathroom. The head of Interscope introduced them and the idea for a collaboration was born.
As he said rather amusingly, "We start working on a song. All because I had to pee."
The track was so strong that they decided to use "I Want You to Know" as the first single from Zedd's upcoming album that he hopes to have finished by spring.
