Usher and Martin Garrix didn't just pose for a picture on Instagram to see how many likes they could get — this is for real. Earlier today, Dutch sensation, Martin Garrix uploaded a short snippet to his Instagram of him and the "Good Kisser" singer working in the studio. The video does not reveal much about the collaboration besides a few notes about the melody and a rather incredible Usher falsetto (in case you ever wondered if he could sing), but it does show Garrix leading that part of the session with a song clearly in being worked on.

 It's coming... @howuseeit

As opposed to the previous picture there is a whole team of individuals also in the background who could be additional songwriters, engineers and producers helping to craft what could be a massive pop track for either Garrix or Usher. Usher is still working on his long-awaited UR, a project he is taking his time with.

"The album isn't scheduled anymore. I've basically taken it back. I'm taking my time with it," he told Billboard. "At the end of the day, all of this is just about having fun. You get in the studio [and] go with how you feel."

This song could be for that and with Usher history working with big-time DJs, this collaboration wouldn't be that far-fetched.

In the past he has collaborated with Swedish House Mafia and Alesso on "Numb" and David Guetta on a "Rest Of My Life," to name a few.

Martin Garrix apparently has over 20 tracks finished and one of them is a track with Ed Sheeran titled "Rewind, Repeat It" that has yet to be played to the world yet.
