Following the release of Queens of the Stone Age's sixth studio album back in June, frontman Josh Homme told Rolling Stone that the band will continue moving forward with the momentum gained from ...Like Clockwork.

When asked if the band has plans for a new album, he responded, "Absolutely. We have more than enough songs. We're booked til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going."

The band has been on tour in support of ...Like Clockwork since its release, playing sold-out shows across the country. As Homme mentioned, the touring will continue into fall 2014, but then will come home to the studio where they can get in the zone. "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."

Their tour starts back up again January 30 in Raleigh, North Carolina's Memorial Auditorium. What would you like to hear from the band on the new album? Let us know in the comments section below!
