YouTube has launched a new resource simply titled YouTube for Artists that provides its musical content creators more data and resources to help use the video-sharing service. The new landing page provides artists with tools in areas on YouTube and off it.

The Google-owned company provides artists tips and tools on how to best engage with fans, generate revenue and get discovered on YouTube.

"What we're doing in a sense is putting the wisdom of the experts in the hands of everyone," said Vivien Lewit, director of music partnerships at the streaming giant, via Billboard.

The new rollout echoes its previous move to engage all sorts of video content creators, but is strictly for music.

One of the main aspects of YouTube for Artists is advanced statistics so you can find your YouTube fans and be more intelligent with your next campaign. The current landing page for Music Insights reads "Coming Soon," but advanced analytics would bring YouTube on par with other streaming services like SoundCloud.

According to Techcrunch, the launch for the stats is planned for the "coming weeks."

YouTube is also offering promotional services for artists, including their YouTube Music Awards and a new radio station titled YouTube 15, which showcases the hottest tracks from emerging and established artists on a Sirius XM show. There is also a YouTube EDM 15 edition of the show. The streaming giant is also offering artists the ability to use any one of its five, state-of-the-art studio locations to shoot high-quality videos.

The program gives artists tips on how to engage with their fans and, interestingly enough, tells them to embrace fan videos, which has been a legal gray area for those who do not clear the music before posting the video.

YouTube created a video to explain the new landing page that features Tinashe, Action Bronson, Robert DeLong and many others. There is no denying the impact that YouTube has had on artist's career and its impact on the music industry. It makes that point by noting that YouTube streams are now counted in the Billboard Hot 100. We will see if this new resource will help smooth over relations between artists, labels and the streaming giant and help generate more revenue and exposure for musical talents worldwide.
