Cee Lo Green has been most well known lately as a coach on NBC's The Voice, but for 2014 he's got a lot more to bring to the table including a new album Girl Power, which he's currently whittling down from 40 or 50 songs to 13 for a tentative release date in February or March, he told Rolling Stone.

"Technically and sonically, [I'm] working with new sounds," he said. "I could be all artsy-fartsy describing it, but to me this is bare bones rock and roll; which at heart is who I feel like I am. I feel like I'm a rock artist. I don't feel like I'm a pop artist. And I'm alt rock. I'm indie rock. I'm punk rock. Because it comes from the pots and pans. It's a lot of me, but I've got multiple personalities."

Beyond that album, Cee Lo is working with his hip-hop group Goodie Mod on a new record and tracks to add to Age Against The Machine, which will be re-released in the spring at the same time as his TBS reality show Cee Lo Green's The Good Life will air.

But for a while fans have wondered when Cee Lo's project with Danger Mouse, Gnarls Barkley, would be putting out some new tunes, and it seems like we'll be getting some of that as well this year.

"If I can release singles that coexist and don't conflict with each other, then you'll hear something new from Gnarls [this year] that will run concurrent with what I'm doing solo and with Goodie Mob," he said. "Three totally different things."
