Taylor Swift has been named one of the world's 50 greatest leaders, according to Fortune Magazine. The publication just released their yearly World's Greatest Leaders issue, which features a diverse group of important people. Following behind Apple CEO Tim Cook, European Central Bank president Mario Draghi, President of China Xi Jinping, Pope Francis and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Swift comes in as the sixth best leader and the highest ranking female on the list.

The country-turned-pop superstar was applauded for her business savvy, social media mastery, and brand management.

"Taylor Swift didn't become the highest-paid woman in the music business by accident," Fortune argues. "Pop's savviest star has crossed swords with Spotify, embraced corporate sponsorship, and moved to secure dozens of trademarks (including phrases like "This sick beat")-plus she has proved shrewder at honing a brand in the social media age than virtually any other person or company. And she's done it without resorting to dumbed-down salacious gimmickry. (Swift, ahem, is arguably the anti-Miley Cyrus.) With 1989, the top-selling album in 2014, Swift's efforts to ensure she gets paid for her music could have a huge ripple effect on the way artists are compensated in an era of free streaming."

Other entertainers on the list include late-night talk show personality Jimmy Fallon, who comes in at No. 45, and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Lebron James, who comes in at No. 31.

Swift's extremely high ranking shows how impactful her art has been on the world and is an example of a creative person using their platform to effect change.

This isn't the only power list Swift has landed on recently. She made the short list for TIME's Person of the Year 2014 and was named Billboard's Woman of the Year 2014.
