It's no secret that Wale and Jerry Seinfeld share a bond. Seinfeld has even contributed segments to Wale's upcoming and highly anticipated album, The Album About Nothing. Now the pair has something else to discuss -- white shoes. In episode two of a Wale and Seinfeld web series, the two friends discuss what wearing white shoes really means.

The Youtube clip begins with Wale sharing,

"If I really sit down and let this man talk, I can just sit down and be like...because white shoes, like that, I wrote half of it in my head already," Wale said in reference to a comment made by Seinfeld. "I think white shoes make people happy-that's f***ing , that's.. and it's probably true."

Seinfeld joined in,

"Well when I grew up grown ups wore black shoes, there was no black color shoes. And then Cosby wore white sneakers on I Spy and then Joe Namath wore white shoes in the '69 Jets and it was like, it's okay to wear white shoes. It just stood out, it's more fun," he explained. "If you're playing a sport in black shoes, it's too serious. You're supposed to be playing."

Seinfeld later shared a story about a woman stopping him on the street to share that she was glad he was "sticking with the white shoes". The comedian relayed that it made the lady happy. Wale tuned in and said,"The White Sneaker" inspired by Seinfeld, will be "a smash."

"Jerry's gonna get a f***ing Grammy...watch," he added.

In 2013, Seinfeld told Rolling Stone that he enjoyed his collaboration with Wale and that initially, his wife helped him get into the D.C rapper's music.

"It's always fun when you cross over lines, you know, in the show business world. It's always fun to go into somebody else's thing and vice versa. So that in itself is just reason enough to do it. My wife is really into Wale so she's playing the stuff and I'm getting into it so it was all great."
