Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" track featuring collaborator Charlie Puth is a part of The Fast and the Furious franchise's film Furious 7, which was released April 3. "See You Again" is featured on the film's soundtrack and the video pays homage to the late Paul Walker.

The video begins with visuals of the lyrics:

It's been a long day, without you my friend.
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again.
We've come a long way from where we began,
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again.

It ends with a visual of a colorful and cloudy sky. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Furious 7 debuted with $146.5 million at the North American box office. The film was initially slated for release last summer July 11, but Walker's sudden death from a car crash in November 2013 halted the production.

The seventh and last installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise did better than any of the previous films under the title. THR reported that the film reached $789 million worldwide. Director James Wan and writer Chris Morgan tweaked the script and used voice effects in some scenes for Walker's character. Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody were also used as stand-ins.

Nicholas Carpou, president of Universal domestic distribution, shared his thoughts on the film's debut.

"Someone that I admire quite a lot recently said this is a franchise that really looks like America, and there are characters that everyone can relate to. I think that's a big plus," Carpou said according to the Hollywood Reporter. "And I think Paul was another big reason for people to come to our movie."

According to THR, the film marks the top opening ever for the month of April.
