Jack Antonoff isn't the only member of fun. who can release a fully-formed solo album. Today (April 6), Nate Ruess announced that he will be following up his The Voice advisory gig and debut solo single "Nothing Without Love" with a new album, Grand Romantic.

Grand Romantic will arrive on June 16 via fun.'s label Fueled By Ramen, Complex reports. It follows the February release of his debut solo single "Nothing Without Love," a dramatic, '80s channeling love ballad.

Details surrounding Ruess' solo album are scarce beyond the lead single, title and release date. A cover and tracklist are forthcoming.

Alongside the album announcement, Ruess release a "beyond the scenes" video for his single "Nothing Without Love," taking fans into the making of his single and music video.

Like most of the best ideas out there, "Nothing Without Love" came to Ruess during a shower. "I had to jump out and sing it into my phone. Then I said THIS ONE, in capital letters. Normally, if I put something in capital letters, then I better pay attention to," Ruess said about the initial songwriting process. "I just wanted it to feel like an old-timey song. It doesn't have a traditional chorus, it kind of just has a tagline at the end of every verse. I think in songwriting I've spent a lot of time writing songs with traditional choruses, and I wanted to experiment with someone else."

Ruess also noted that this song was his baby, and it was hard to turn it over to other people.

Grand Romantic will be Ruess' first solo album as fun. is on an extended hiatus.
