Mumford & Sons keep trucking along, rolling out new music from its first fully plugged-in album Wilder Mind. Following the release of the lead single "Believe," today (April 7), the band announced its next album preview "The Wolf" ahead of its Saturday Night Live gig this weekend.
Mumford & Sons announced that "The Wolf" will be its next Wilder Mind single on Twitter, setting a release date for this Thursday, April 9, at 7:20 p.m. GMT (3:20 p.m. EST).

The new single announcement comes ahead of Mumford & Sons planned performance this weekend on the April 11 episode of Saturday Night Live.
The release of "The Wolf" and Mumford & Sons' SNL gig comes ahead of the release of the band's third studio album Wilder Mind, which is due to be released on May 4. The new album will mark a sonic departure for Mumford & Sons as the band moves away from its folk roots and finally "plugs in."
