There seems to be something a-brewing in the camp of a huge '90s country star, and for once we aren't talking about Garth Brooks. Music Times has spotted indications that Shania Twain might be going on tour, or at least playing true concerts, for the first time in more than a decade.

At least one concert is guaranteed: Twain announced on Wednesday that she'll be performing July 9 at the Scotiabank Saddledome as part of the Calgary Stampede, a yearly festival and rodeo in the aforementioned Canadian city. It'd be one thing if Twain was traveling to Alberta just for a one-off, but she has no formal connection to the city. She's Canadian, but a native of Windsor, Ontario...right across the river from Detroit.

Need more proof? Well, we don't have too much. However! Twain tweeted on January 13 that her website was currently undergoing a renovation, and would be ready to launch soon. For major musicians, a website redesign normally occurs when the performer releases a new album...or perhaps when announcing a new tour?

For Twain, it could be both. She's been talking up a new record since 2011, and most recently she told Good Morning America during October that she's looking for the right producer. The yet-untitled record is a possibility, and a tour following it seems only logical.

Now, it's not as if fans haven't been able to see Twain for the last decade. It's just been a little tougher than it once was. The country star's been performing as part of a residency at Las Vegas casino Caesar's Palace for two years. A country star performing in Vegas before announcing they'd be hitting the road for a 2014 tour. Sound familiar? Garth Brooks played essentially the same exact card as 2013 ended.

One thing we won't go as far as to predict: A Garth Brooks/Shania Twain dual-headlining tour.
