Drake pulled double duty last night, serving as both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The episode was also the first to feature new castmember Sasheer Zamata, who was recently found after a push to add an African American woman to the cast.

Drake's performance was strong from start to finish, beginning with his spot-on impersonation of Alex Rodriguez. During his monologue, he played off his black Jewish heritage by re-imagining his Bar Mitzvah and rapping about it saying, "I play ball like LeBron, and I know what a W-2 is."

Other impersonations included Lil Wayne, Kat Williams and Jay Z. He also rapped about New Years resolutions, dressed as a cosplay wizard, played an eager Disney World Indian Jones host, a kid who has the hots for older women, and an anchor on Mornin' Miami.

For his first musical performance, he sang a mash-up of "Started From the Bottom" and his recent single "Trophies." For his second performance, he brought his girlfriend Jhene Aiko on stage with him to sing a touching version of "Hold On, We're Going Home" and "From Time."

Drake proved that despite his Degrassi days being over, he hasn't lost his acting chops. Check out the episode for yourself here, and let us know what you thought of his performance in the comments section below!
