Phaedra Parks's divorce from Apollo Nida has been a major storyline on the currently airing season of RHOA, with fans being able to see firsthand just how scary his behavior was before reporting to jail last fall. All the while, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Parks has really remained a class act in how she has handled things. She has discussed how the end of her marriage has felt like the "death of a dream" and how she ultimately believes that Nida conned her for years. After so many truly upsetting developments, you would think Parks would be racing to finalize her divorce, but just the opposite seems to be true.

On an appearance of Watch What Happens: Live last night, April 12, Parks cheerfully told host Andy Cohen that she is still married.

Now, it could simply have been Parks trying to remain positive in the conversation, but she made it sound like divorce just is not in the immediate future for her, in spite of already petitioning the court for it. At one point, Parks's attorney did suggest moving slowly because of her two young sons with Nida. As far as we know, they still have not visited their father in jail despite his requests to see them.

Do you think Parks is content to let her divorce drag out because in her mind the marriage is already over anyway, or could there actually be some strange hope for a reconciliation with Nida? Do you think it is even remotely possible that Parks would actually wait eight years to be reunited with Nida after he is finally released, or is she simply following a path that her attorney believes in is her best interests to keep the divorce as civil as possible?
