After spending about 10 weeks at the bedside of his comatose daughter, Bobby Brown finally went back to work this past weekend. We already told you about his quick karaoke stop with friends Friday, April 10, and then Saturday night, April 11, he performed at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles. While Bobbi Kristina Brown might have been resting comfortably back in Atlanta, she certainly was not far from her father's thoughts, noting the "rough times" he has recently been through.

During his performance, Brown took a moment to acknowledge his ongoing medical crisis with Bobbi Kristina, and he also thanked everyone for the enormous amount of support he has received.

"I wanna thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family. Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God," said an emotional Brown.

Unfortunately, Bobbi Kristina's condition has not changed since first being admitted to the hospital in late January. The 22-year-old was found unresponsive in her bathtub and immediately placed in a medically induced coma, where she remains. Last month doctors decided that there was nothing more they could do to try and improve her condition, and Bobbi Kristina was then moved to a long-term care facility. Her father has been a constant presence up until this weekend.

Brown will next be flying to Australia to play a few shows that were already postponed once because of Bobbi Kristina's medical crisis, and the promoter is not willing to push those dates back any further.

Do you think it is time for Brown to go back to work after months of holding vigil? Do you think his hope for a medical miracle is even slightly realistic, or is it instead rooted in wishful thinking? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
