Jaden Smith dropped his new song "Offering" on his sister Willow's SoundCloud page. The conscious and at times passion-fueled track, gives fans a look at the inner thoughts of the son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The 16-year-old raps about his inner thoughts over a laid-back production. Complex captured a block of his lyrics, reading:

My dad said to beat the system understand it first

My dad's an inspiration

I respect the man, the man at work

And everything you say is something that you can't reverse

Something that you can't rehearse

Someone that you can't converse with.

Jaden may have praised his dad, but Will has also praised his son, especially when it comes to money. In an interview with Esquire in March, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor revealed that Jaden, at the time, only owned one pair of shoes, three pairs of pants and five shirts.

"It's such an interesting thing to watch, because I came from a middle-class background, but, you know, our lights and gas would be cut off from not paying the bill," he told Esquire. "I grew up in a house where you would need the kerosene heaters in the winter in case the bills didn't get paid. And he's from the complete other end of the spectrum. And it's so interesting to me that from growing up in that space, he could see the need for things in a way that he's rejecting. He's like, 'I'm not gonna let myself need things in that way.'"

As far as having a tough skin in this industry, Will explained that Jaden is prepared to deal with the bad that comes with the good.

"And Jaden understands that that's a part of this business," he told Esquire. "If he wants to do it, there's a certain amount of battery that you have to be willing to live through ..."
