It was about this time last year that Tori Spelling first started doing publicity for her latest reality show, True Tori, which ultimately documented her life after finding out that her husband, Dean McDermott, had cheated on her. The series, which ran for two very brief seasons on Lifetime was a complete train wreck, leaving many to wonder if it was even real. It, to this day, seems entirely possible that these two schemed up this mock crisis to keep the money rolling in and if it was fake then it was both Spelling and McDermott's best acting gig to date. While she at first said there would be more True Tori, McDermott has now confirmed that the series is finished.

In an interview with Fox411 McDermott claims that his infidelity was the best thing to rock his marriage because things are now great at home. "Amazing, absolutely amazing. They are better now than before all of this happened. When something bad or tragic happens, people say 'what's the message?' or 'what's the good in it?' And the good in all of that is that it really got the two of us on track as a couple and really got our communication skills working and it got me sober and in recovery and it changed our lives and together we're stronger because of it and more in love," said McDermott.

So now the couple is apparently hoping to return to their happy family-branding and if you thought that would mean the end of reality television for them, you're wrong. McDermott confirms that more stuff is in the works saying, "We're going to do some more reality TV. We're going to do some stuff for the Cooking Channel. It's going to be lighthearted, nothing like True Tori. Do some cooking stuff, maybe some travel stuff, stuff with the family but lighthearted and fun. Those days of baring our souls to the world are over."

Do you think that True Tori was just a gimmick to try and get people to invest in them as a couple again since their family business hadn't been doing so well? Will you watch their next reality show venture? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
