Ad-Rock -- aka Adam Horovitz -- of the Beastie Boys stopped by The Daily Show recently to catch up with Jon Stewart. The host went into fanboy mode immediately after the rapper walked on set to seemingly promote his new movie While We're Young. Like most of his previous late-night interviews, Ad-Rock never got around to talking about the movie, and Stewart was just fine with that.

The musician shook hands with Stewart before taking the TV personality in a big embrace. Ad-Rock proceeded to ham it up, as usual, kicking his feet up and taking over Stewart's chair for a short bit where the pair pretended to be each other.

"So, what did you think about the thing when it happened," Horovitz asked jokingly, leaning into Stewart. "Politics and stuff and jokes."

"It's hard. You've summed me up," Stewart responded.

The pair spent a fair amount of time talking about record collecting before Stewart confessed that the interview had ended minutes ago. He just wanted the performer to hang out for a while.

"Also, he's in some f**king movie," Stewart said to close out the hilarious interview.

Horovitz stars in While We're Young alongside Ben Stiller, Adam Driver, Naomi Watts and Amanda Seyfried. The movie hits theaters this Friday, April 17.

"But it also takes a clear-eyed look at the narcissism that can result from settling into a smug life of parenthood and domesticity, as evidenced by Josh and Cornelia's former BFFs, played sharply by Maria Dizzia and Adam Horovitz. (Better known as Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys, Horovitz is great in this -- a total natural and a surprising source of a calm and stability in a film full of flux.)," RogerEbert.com wrote about the film.
