An interesting trend has developed over on the Billboard Digital Downloads charts: A streak of two-week streaks. The previous five songs to hold the no. 1 spot in the Top 10 have appeared there for exactly two weeks before being replaced by a different song

This week marked the second consecutive for Katy Perry's "Dark Horse," which sold 261,000 downloads and took no. 1 again. The previous placers were "Timber" by Pitbull and Ke$ha, "Say Something" by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera, "Timber" (the first time), and "The Monster" by Eminem and Rihanna. The rest of those previously-rans would also make appearances in this week's chart.

"Say Something" moved up one spot to no. 2, selling 208,000 downloads, despite a slight drop off in sales percentage. "Timber" saw a bigger decrease however, dropping to no. 3 with 202,000 downloads.

Aloe Blacc and "The Man" continued to rise (moving up from no. 7), perhaps thanks to a new Beats commercial featuring new meme-favorite Richard Sherman. The track sold 165,000 downloads. OneRepublic and "Counting Stars" haven't gotten to the top spot, but they've been hanging around the Top 10 awfully long. This week the song settles at no. 5 with 156,000 downloads.

Only one new track made it onto the list this week. Jason DeRulo saw an 84 percent increase for "Talk Dirty," no doubt thanks to the contributions of collaborator 2 Chainz. The track placed no. 6 with 148,000 downloads. The last of the aforementioned no. 1's, "The Monster," came in at no. 7 with 136,000 downloads.

The final three positions remained relatively stagnant from last week. Lorde maintained the no. 8 spot with "Team," selling 130,000 downloads. Passenger and "Let Her Go" came back up a spot to no. 9, moving 130,000 units, and likewise Bastille's "Pompeii" slid back one spot to round off the list, selling 129,000 downloads.
