Vans is honoring the Beatles with a new footwear collaboration that will come out on March 1. The iconic band will also receive some well-deserved recognition tonight at the Grammys with the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Artwork from Yellow Submarine is the focus for this collection with four different styles. You can snag a pair of these unique kicks for $65 to $75. For the most expensive pair, the Sk8-Hi Reissue, features portraits of all four Beatles running up the ankles apropos to cartoon portraits of each as they were animated for the film.

For the other three styles, they all include a psychedelic images pulled from the movie, including a scene featuring Sea of Monsters on the Classic Slip-Ons, images of the Fab Four in rainbow pants in a yellow garden and one style features "Allyouneedislove" repeated all over the shoes.

On February 9th, the Beatles will be the subject of a two-hour CBS special that will commemorate the 50th anniversary of their arrival in the United States. Ringo Starr recently spoke to Rolling Stone and discussed what it was like playing in America for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show.

"We were playing that 70 million people were watching, but it was being in America that was so exciting," he said. "All the music we loved was in America; it came from America to England. . . . I could feel the buzz, even on the plane, it was so exciting."


For the CBS special, members of the synth-pop duo the Eurythmics will reunite, there will be duets by Alicia Keys and John Legend, John Mayer and Keith Urban will as well as a performance by Maroon 5.
