Rihanna fans sure now how to flock to new music. Today (April 21), the "American Oxygen" singer released a new interlude from her upcoming album "R8" called "James Joint" and fans immediately crashed her website's server.

At 3:12 p.m., Rihanna tweeted out to her 44.2 million followers that RihannaNow.com had new music - and the server immediately crashed.

The new music wasn't a full song but an interlude from "R8" which Rihanna posted "in celebration of 420."

Backed by a simple round of synthesizers, the one minute, 12 second "James Joint" features Rihanna quietly singing about loving her newfound man. But, of course, the track starts off with a little tribute to Mary Jane.

"I'd rather be smoking weed / Every time I breathe, every time you kiss me / Don't say that you miss me / Just come get me / Don't know why, just know I want to / Don't know why, just know I want you," she croons.

It's not the strongest offer from "R8" to date, but hey, it is just a little interlude so what is there really to expect from 72 seconds of music?

Listen now over at RihannaNow.com.

"James Joint" is just the latest track to be released from Rihanna's planned eighth studio album, which has yet to receive an actual official title or release date. Rihanna has previously led the release by dropping full singles "FourFiveSeconds," "B*tch Better Have My Money" and "American Oxygen."
