Kanye West is not bailing on TIDAL, the new streaming service he co-owns with Jay Z and other superstars (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jack White, etc.). Yesterday (April 22), reports spread that the "All Day" rapper may be withdrawing his support from the fledgling service after deleting several tweets referencing TIDAL and changing his avatar from bright blue to his George Condo My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy artwork. But, West is dismissing any rumors that he's jumped ship.

Indeed, West did delete several tweets that indicated his support for TIDAL. Complex reports that three tweets related to TIDAL, including West's support for the company and one music video, were deleted from his timeline.

The timing of the deleted tweets made many wonder if West was getting off the TIDAL wave of support. In recent weeks, the struggling service has face backlash from the likes of Mumford & Sons and Lily Allen, fired its CEO and 25 other employees and dropped out of the top 700 apps on iTunes, far below similar services like Pandora, Spotify and Rdio.

But, West is not withdrawing his support (or his money) from TIDAL. After the fact the he deleted tweets made waves around the Internet, 'Ye answered the critics by, well, tweeting out support for TIDAL.

The reality is, West deletes his tweets all the time. Go back on his timeline and you won't find anything before May 17, 2013, despite the fact that West joined the social media site in July 2010 (and was a regular tweeter then).

For the TIDAL 16, the passion goes on.
