Back in 1990, Ice Cube rapped about jacking beats, a common occurrence in the hip-hop world. This time around, Jace of Atlanta rap collective Two-9 is saying Drake stole beats for "No Telling" and "6 God" from his latest release, IYRTITL.

Jace recently took to Twitter making claims that he had two beats that eventually became Drake songs before the Toronto rapper recorded over them.

As noted by XXL, the existence of these demos have been a point of speculation among observers. While some believe Drake may have strong-armed his rights to the beats, others say it's all a part of the creative process.

Syk Sense, who co-produced "6 God" with Boi-1da, denounced Jace's claims, telling AllHipHop that Drake had access to the track months before the Atlanta rapper recorded over it.

"I don't know why Jace put it on Twitter like that, because I was in the studio the night he did it and we had a conversation. I said, 'Don't put it out there that Drake stole it, because he didn't,'" he said. "Drake had that beat first."

The origins of the "No Telling" demo remain unclear, but the songs sound eerily similar.

Just last week, physical copies of Drake's IYRTITL went on sale after a surprise release and chart-topping digital fan response.

As previously reported by ThisIsWalder, the album was released digitally on February 13, and since then, has sold 1,011,041 copies, the equivalent to the number of streams. According to the Sales Plus Streaming system, IYRTITL sold 535,000 copies its first week.

The surprise release debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and helped the Toronto rapper chart 14 songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100. He tied a record, set by the Beatles, that stood unmatched for 51 years.

IYRTITL is now available in stores with two additional tracks, "How Bout Now" and "My Side."

Jace was recently featured on Mike WiLL Made It's Ransom mixtape.
