Trin-i-tee, American gospel due, is set to release a new album that features a collection of their biggest hits through out their career, entitled, 'Trin-i-tee Hits.'
The new album will feature hit songs like 'God's Grace, 'Over and Over' and 'Listen.' Other songs on the upcoming album include 'Heaven Hear My Heart,' 'Get Away,' 'Bring Your Praise, 'Love,' 'I Need You Now,' 'Blessing Me,' 'Listen,' 'My Body' and 'There He Is.' The new album will feature both audio tracks and music videos from Trin-i-tee's extensive career.
Trin-i-tee 5:7 began in the '90s as a trio comprised of Angel Taylor, Chanelle Hayes, and Terri Brown. They proved to be a great Christian alternative to popular R&B groups at the time, like Destiny's Child. Their name was inspired by the scripture, 1 John 5: 7, which refers to the Trinity, the connection between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The group's first album, 'Trin-i-tee 5:7,' which was released in 1998 and debuted at No. 1 on the Top Gospel music charts and later became certified gold. Brown left the group in 1999 and was replaced by Adrian Anderson, who appeared on the group's next few albums, including their very successful No. 1 album, 'Spiritual Love.' The group also released another certified gold album at No. 2 entitled, 'The Kiss,' in 2002.
In 2007, the group released a previous greatest hits compilation, entitled, 'Holla: The Best of Trin-i-tee 5:7,' followed by their fifth album, 'T57,' featuring their No. 1 hit single, 'Listen.' These albums were extremely successful, with 'T57' reaching No. 2 on the Top Gospel Albums charts, No. 5 on the Top Christian charts and No. 12 on the Top R&B charts. Then, in 2008, Trin-i-tee's single, 'I Will Lift,' became certified platinum and reached over a million copies sold world-wide. After that, in 2008, the group released the Deluxe Edition of their 'T57' album, which won two Dove Awards and a Grammy nomination.
After a 2009 Christmas release, the trio became a duo, featuring Angel Taylor, Chanelle Hayes. Their 2011 album release entitled, 'Angel & Chanelle,' featured their very successful first track, 'Over & Over' among other great songs.
Now, the pair will be releasing another compilation album, after the overwhelming success of their compilation albums in the past. This album is meant to prove inspirational for those who are both inside and outside of the church and encourage them to live a life for Christ.
