Jill Scott is back! On Monday, the Philly songstress released a new single entitled "Fool's Gold" and announced her upcoming summer tour.
As noted by Billboard, Scott's new single made its debut via iHeartRadio's urban stations. The track, which also serves as the lead single from Scott's upcoming fifth studio album, is available now on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.
Scott's earlier buzz track "You Don't Know" will also appear on the album. The singer/actress has not yet announced a released date or title for the project.
Her last album, 2011's The Light of the Sun, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The "Golden" songbird will kick off her 25-date headline tour on July 13 in Pittsburgh.
"Fans have patiently waited four years for new music. When they hear Jill perform live this summer ... it'll be worth the wait," Shawn Gee, Scott's longtime business partner, said in a statement.
