Wiz Khalifa has seen success with a single before when "Black and Yellow" went to number one and "We Dem Boyz" became one of the 2014 summer anthems, but "See You Again" may have the legs to top both of them. Backed by the might of the Fast & Furious franchise, Khalifa has topped the charts for a month straight and does not appear to be losing any steam. He spoke to MTV recently about the success of his Paul Walker tribute track and the opportunities it has afforded him, as well as recent collaborations with Curren$y and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Wiz does not specifiy exactly what these new opportunities afforded him are, but it wouldn't be out of the question to see much more of him with brand deals and commercials.

He spoke about his upcoming project with Curren$y, a mixtape titled 2009. He noted that it is mostly done, but they are just getting the right plan together for a release.

"It's something that we're working on," said Wiz of 2009, his upcoming project with Spitta. "We're still putting the ideas together. We're such friends, and such stoners, we kinda want to just give it out, but we are in the music business..."

The pair have a remarkable chemistry and they are constantly working on new music according to Wiz.

"We're just working on it constantly," he said. "He's always sending me beats that he rapped to, or I'm sending him stuff I rapped to. In the end, we're just gonna come out with something super dope."

Wiz confirms that the PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration that he premiered during SXSW is in fact going to be released, they are just working out the final details.

That song's called 'Hurricane' right now, but I'll probably change the name of it. You're going to hear the full version of that," he said. "That's mine [Wiz laugh]. I did two verses on there, he has a hook... nah, psych, we did it together, so it doesn't really matter [who puts it out]."
