Deep house sensation ZHU has unveiled the music video for his 2014 track "Cocaine Models." Taken from his 4-track Nightday EP, "Cocaine Models" did not get the same acclaim or fame as "Faded," which earned the mysterious producer a Grammy nod, but it sill has the same emotion found in his other tracks. The music video is an avant-garde interpretation of the song, directed by Zhu himself.

It was shot on site in New York during February's New York Fashion Week, unsurprisingly following models down the runway, including Shaun Ross as Zhu shoots his actors in various different environments like a bath, sewing room and in a glassy field, tying together the various elements of a model's life in an artistic manner.

Potentially equally as important to the new music video, fans who stay all the way until the end of the video are able to see two things. First are some people modeling new merchandise from ZHU's clothing collection and his Mind Of A Genius label. Those can be purchased on his website here.

Zhu also used the opportunity to tease a short clip of brand new music, while showing off the new merch. From the 30-second clip we can hear, Zhu is once again singing a soft and high-pitched falsetto, while also crafting a soothing, emotional atmosphere found in his other tracks.

Zhu appears to be prepping some new music very soon. He has been invited by Pete Tong to spin a special after hours guest mix on BBC Radio One this Friday, May 15. With an album coming on Columbia Records, it would make sense for the Los Angeles-based DJ use this opportunity to tease some new tunes.
